Blog Crush

Through humor you can soften some of the worst blows that life delivers. And once you find laughter, no matter how painful your situation might be, you can survive it. - Bill Cosby.

Who doesn't love a good dose of humor? Something to laugh at, someone to laugh with.. and for a moment forget that your life is totally effed up.

My day today has been one such day where nothing that your mind thinks on its own is cheerful. On days like this, previously, I would turn to ED - Eternally Distracted - one of the best blogs in blogosphere that will surely make you crack up. However... when I was in my self imposed exile, ED said goodbye to her blog and us. She is terrific. Her blog is still there if you care to take a peek. Do not miss her stories about Mec (her companion) and Max (her pet). Absolutely hilarious. I hope her wee scottish granny is doing her rounds and tells her I miss her. Sigh..

Coming back to the matter in hand. Now that ED up and went, I have been looking for a someone I can laugh with. And today morn, fate brought her to my blog. Ladies and gentlemen let me present Just 4 Me. No. NOT just for me, her Blog is called Just for Me and that is also her pen (or should I say keyboard?) name. Check it out here.

In case you were wondering, she is not only blessed with a way with a knack of blending humor into everyday life, but also wording it amazingly. She loves to talk (like me!) and her blog posts are as long as mine (mine! mine!) and she doesn't care for a thing in the world except being happy. Lovely!

I have been stalking her blog all day.. and I thought I should post my latest blog crush and make it official, lest she label me a creepy stalker.

Dear J. I thank the lucky stars that brought you to my blog. I love that you are YOU in your blog - honest, funny, witty and caring. I already feel like I know you. And I hope I really  get to know you. Stick around!

Know her here.

I am sure Partha sir would agree with me.

Lol...Now...I am in Which Heaven??? Gosh...this is something that has made my day today...Trust me dear, I came to work with a heavy headache...but then, now I am like...with a Halo around my head...and also with those Closeup Sparkling rings around my body...(do u remember those ads for Closeup years back...where a sparkling spiral ring comes around the person who brush their teeth with Closeup...Lol..for long time, I thought, tht stuff would really come around u if we brush with it...)

Actually, even b4 opening my blog, I saw my email and read all ur comments...and I wanted to respond to each...But now, I feel, as u did..I should dedicate one of my posts for u and reply to all ur comments in there...So, do walk by my blog..Before evening, U would be in there...

Hey J.. I have been checking my mail on my ipodtouch every ten min to see if you replied.. I am glad you approve and like it ..
Of course I remember that ad.. I used to wonder how those rings made sense!
J my crush for u is entirely strings unattached. Rest assured it would still be very much alive even if you did not blog about me.
So just take care and enjoy the ride :)

Rohini,I agree with you.
Anamika who prefers to remain incognito is a blogger non pareil. It is a fun to read her posts that are invariably hilarious and I often hold my stomach unable to contain my laughter when I read her articles. She is brutally frank ,calls a spade a spade and yet can say things laced in great humour. She has a great command over language and is fluent with a proclivity to write on and on.But she takes delight
in putting me into great difficulty by choosing the smallest font size in the haziest colour. But I don't give up easily. My recipe to cure me of my dull moods is to read a post or two at random from her blog.A nice friend,a fun to correspond with, she is a rare find.Little wonder you have become her votary and you seem to have read many of her posts at one go.Beware of stomach pain!!

Partha sir.. you have put it pefectly.
yes. I had my fair fight with the small font. You could try zooming in - just press ctrl and hold it, then pres + . ctrl and - zooms out once you are done. It worked for me :)

hello anu! welcome to my blog. thanks for all those kind words.
I truly understand what you feel - one would surely like to know atleast the name of a person who touches your heart. However, being anonymous is her choice and I respect it. and J works for me :) or anamika.. or snehita (which is a befitting name for her, whether her real name or given).
Maje ki baath bathavun? I have a dear friend named anupama who was a regular at my blogs. she stopped blogging a while ago, which is ok 'cos we are friends in 'real' life.. so I was pleasantly surprised when I saw your name and 'Dear rohini'.. I was wondering what was wrong with her!! for she never calls me rohini.. hahaha..
Welcome to my blog! I would love to talk more to you.. so do come back :)
